Carrot White Chocolate with Seed & Nut Crumble
I have a favorite carrot muffin recipe from Ottolenghi's first cookbook. It has carrots and apples, and it’s topped with an amazing crumble that is packed with seeds. Here we have an ode to that muffin - my new Carrot Crumble bar; carrot cinnamon white chocolate with an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink crumble folded in, a light smattering of dehydrated carrot, black sesame seeds, sea salt and currants over the back. It’s cookie-ish and very comforting, the base is ever so slightly earthy from the carrots and warm from the cinnamon. Each bite is a surprise
