Meant to Be
This is a not a traditional chocolate bar in any sense, not to state the total obvious! In my day job I sell cheese, and it’s another love of mine. Let’s get geeky here for a second. There’s a culture that they add to cheese, Lactobacillus Helveticus, which contributes to a nutty sweet flavor. Traditionally it’s been added to alpine cheeses, but in recent years it’s become extremely popular to add to cheddars. For many people it makes it downright addictive. This bar echoes that - Meant to be bar; Cheddar white chocolate with crunchy smoky beer breadcrumbs and smoked salt. Originally made in honor of Megan and Matt’s wedding (happy anniversary!!), it had to make a comeback again this year. Enjoy as an afternoon snack, add it to a cheese board or have it with sliced pears and apples. It’s a bit sweet, a bit savory and I think it will surprise and delight you!
Ingredients: Organic cocoa butter, organic cane sugar, milk powder, cheese cultures, enzymes, whey, butter, buttermilk, disodium phosphate, wheat flour, yeast, malted barley flour, yeast, organic pale malted barley, munich malt, cascade hops, Ft George yeast, hickory smoke, annatto, salt.
